In last week's vice presidential debate the issue of abortion was brought up in the context of both candidates being catholic and how their faith effects their views on this matter.
A better way of asking this question would be to ask simply, when does life begin? The answer is not complicated, each in every humam life begins at conception, when the sperm unites with the egg this is the beginning of human life. This is not just a religious point of view it is a scientific view as well. In the bible pregnant woman are referred to as with child, I just don't know how much plainer it can be explained.
In science the definition of the beginning of life begins at fertilization, when the sperm meets the egg.
There is no valid argument that the unborn are not living human beings. The prochoice community should just admit that and if they want to continue to support legalized abortion they should be truthful and just say that a pregnant woman has the right to kill her unborn child. I suppose to expect honesty from people who support killing is too much to ask of them.
