IN THE NEWS
Many are predicting that 2012 will be the end of the world. Ofcourse predictions of the end of the world are not new, throughout the centuries there have been many predictions of the end.
Why is 2012 any different than past predictions, it would seem as though circumstances are different than past ones. Just look at what's going on all around us, trouble and strife everywhere. When we read in the book of Matthew Chapter 24 Jesus is asked by his disciples signs of his return and the end of the world. Jesus answers: many will deceive you in his name, rumours of wars, nation shall rise against nation, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, persecution of the righteous. But those who endure shall be saved. And when the gospel is preached all over the world then the end shall come. The book of Revelation is dedicated to what will occur in end times, there are many interpations of this scripture it surely isn't easy to understand, but it seems as though alot of it's writings are coming to pass, slowly but surely.
Will 2012 be the end, for the answer to this question I refer to what Jesus told us in Matthew Chapter 24:36: But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. So in conclusion: ALWAYS BE READY!
